The Sun on 03.13.2022. The largest area of activity on the disk is AR 2965 (left and above center on the inverted image). This active area has a ‘beta-gamma’ magnetic field, giving it the potential to release M-class (medium size) flares. The second image is a closeup of AR 2965.
