The Sun is Waking Up! Originally Published February 16, 2022

 The Sun continues to show lots of activity. Here is today's image, taken at the CSO with a PST-DS and a Mallincam DS2.3+. It's a stacked AVI, processed in Registax. There are 200 frames in the final image. Note the prominences at the 6 and 9 o'clock positions. At the 3 o'clock position, you can see a fainter, hedge Prominence. Filaments can be seen in the lower part of the image.
